What are you forgetting?
Before you leave for anywhere, check the things that end a trip if they are missing: identification, payment, prescription medication, keys, glasses, booking details, and the chargers your devices need. Everything else is usually recoverable at the other end. LeavePrep splits that into a checklist per scenario, ordered by consequence, so the items you cannot replace on arrival come first.

How are LeavePrep checklists ordered?
By consequence, not by category. Each list is grouped into sections, and the section that ends a trip if forgotten comes first, so documents and medication sit above comfort items. That order is checked when the site is built, and every item states why it belongs on that particular list.
Does LeavePrep save my checklist progress?
Yes, but only in the browser you are using. Ticked items are stored on your own device. There is no account and no login, and progress is never sent to a server, so it will not follow you to a different browser, a different device, or a private window.
Who writes and reviews the checklists?
LeavePrep Editorial. Every checklist page names its publisher and reviewer and shows both the date it was published and the date it was last reviewed. A review date is changed only after an actual review, so it is not a freshness signal on its own.
Are the product links paid?
Some are, and they earn a commission at no extra cost to you. The checklist is written first and products are matched to items afterwards, so nothing is added to a list because it can be sold. An item stays on the list whether or not a product is attached to it.
Do the checklists work without JavaScript?
Yes. The full text of every checklist, including the reason attached to each item, is in the page as delivered by the server. JavaScript only adds ticking items off, progress, and filtering. With it switched off you still get the complete list and every explanation.
What do LeavePrep checklists deliberately not cover?
Clothing, and anything you can buy easily on arrival. The lists concentrate on what is simple to forget and costly to be without, such as documents, medication, keys, glasses and chargers. Each checklist page also states its own scope, because what counts as replaceable changes by destination.
How these checklists are built
Every checklist draws on one shared library of items. An item is written once, with its own reason for existing, then reused in each scenario it applies to with a reason specific to that trip. Sections are ordered by consequence rather than by category, and that order is verified when the site is built. Products are matched to items only after an item has earned its place on the list.

LeavePrep covers what is easy to forget and expensive to be without. It is not a packing list for clothing, and it is not a product review site.
